Marilyn Monroe Dress.....

I bought this dress a couple of years ago from Mama Price but I have never had the chance to take pictures. It's one of my favorite dresses to date; well aside from my black lace one.I call it the Monroe dress 'cause it is not a good one to wear in a windy day.Meaning it will go up with the wind.Haha.I have had enough incidents I tell you. Too embarrassing.

Crochet and Florals

Now I get to share with you guys my latest discovery. Well to some it's not that a big deal but for me it is! I am on a quest to know how to plait,braid, weave in and everything that pertains to hair. I happened to see AfroSiri Salon (Wahu's salon) advertising on their page about doing crochet braids and I was curious cos I had never heard of them.Thank God for Youtube though! There are a myriad tutorials to choose from. That's where I came to know of Bantu Knots twistouts. I have since done better Bantu Knots twistouts.Here's a sample.

Bob, Prints and Wood

Hi lovelies!Hope your weeks have been good. Mine have been up and down. This post was supposed to be up by last weekend but one but I got ill so I'm doing it now.Remember my last post? Yes, the I-cut-my-hair one.Well,my friends and family have been like "You cut your hair!" I told you guys it was a big deal. Haha. Quite relieved were they when I assured them that yes I did but not the whole of it!

Big Decisions

I hope you are all well.Busy busy.Getting a little too tired nowadays for my liking though.

Anywho so I cut my hair this month.Oh this is a big deal for me I tell you coz I have never done it!My hair cuts were usually in my mom's department when I was young.I remember I used to get so angry.Can you imagine seeing your long locks disappear just before your eyes and you had no say in it?Frustrating I tell you.But it always grew back again until the recent couple of years when I have felt that it isn't.Not at the pace I expected it to.
