Fresh Off the Hiatus

Hi lovely people,

I want to thank all those who have been with me with or without me knowing it. Last post that I posted was around 2 months ago. I was still recuperating. My morale was down since as for those who know I was sick for a while beginning of this year. However, I am glad to tell you guys that I did start exercising the weight off and I am hoping the next time I weigh myself I will have lost some. Weight issues are very near and dear to a woman. To me, I had never struggled to shed weight for this long. When I usually gain some I shed off as quickly. I have always been yoyoing from a size 10 to 12.And to think that I almost got to a 16! So, this was all new to me. Having had to get some new clothes (larger) and having to look at my old clothes and just wonder whatever happened. I would wish to reveal my sickness but I will in due time; when I am ready. It may shock you to know that you may be going through it and not know about it! I didn't.

I want also to mention that I was getting tired of blogging. Having to find the right places and postures was becoming too much. Have you ever seen someone write your thoughts down? That's what happens most of the time when i read Nancie's blog The Fashion Notebook .I think she reads my thoughts like all the time. Recently she mentioned that she was going through almost the same things I was going through in regards to blogging and her personal life. Feeling like you are failing yourself and others. Feeling like you are orbiting the same place in your life. I felt touched. Like God was telling me kumbe I am not alone!

I want to start afresh. Same blog but different me. I had so much ideas when I started this blog. I read other people"s blogs and wanted to start one for myself that would encompass everything I love to do. I love music, writing poems, reading books, fashion, cooking, traveling and so much more. Even dancing! So when I started this blog I wanted to share all of that and that is what I will do. It doesn't have to be an everyday posting but I will share my world however and whenever I can.

So thank you again for those who have been stopping by. I leave you with these words:

And also these words from Emily Bustamante (Emily B.)
"The heart of human excellence often begins to beat when you discover a pursuit that absorbs you, frees you, challenges you, and gives you a sense of meaning, joy and passion. Life is short. If there was ever a moment to follow your passion and do something that matters to you, that moment is now. #EmilyB "

Have a lovely weekend everyone. God bless.

xoxo
